The learning centres.

Hello readers

The world lives on, beliefs, traditions and cultures and we know that these factors, have also governed in shaping up our civilization.
Today we want to talk about temples of India, what is the first thing that's strikes when we talk about temples? The deity, that spiritual environment, the sculptures, the architecture and so on.
We feel temples were and are the learning centers, even if we think in the so called "modern "way and keep this force called God,divinity and spirituality aside, there must be a solid reason why these mega-structures were built!

Just look at these places, engineered perfectly, the architecture is magnificent, and every temple is a center for learning of subjects like mythology, the basic truths of life, collectively we can say the people who go and visit a temple are sure to come out happy, and educated and definitely motivated, after seeing the digital accuracy of the statues and carvings.
Now let's think with a  rational approach, imagine some 2000 years ago,a king used to wage wars, and acquire  kingdoms and its resources, and make huge investments in man, money and tools to build these huge mansions, which is almost impossible to build even with the latest technology available with us!?

What truly amazes is, that the productivity of the Kings who worked as professional managers in getting there projects completed, just think how much science and management may have been used ,some great monuments like the stone chariot at Vijayanagar, the time wheel at the sun temple orissa, the magnificent temples of Tamil Nadu, truly show the determination and the intelligence level of the ancient people.

Let's all appreciate the great work of all those noble men and start reading and visiting, temples which seriously is a learning center
.
There is a trend l in our country that there is less scope for arts, when compared to science. This thinking had led to demotivate  in students who want to persist their careers in arts, So there has to be a shift in the way of thinking towards arts.

We would like to conclude by expressing a concern about the Indian education system, which should teach more about the temples and monuments from the grass-root level and give more importance in the field of arts and help willing aspirations to get the best facilities, to understand our great cultures better.

Living with hope

  1. view the temples as the acme of perfection and you are done for. view them as the immense possibilities open to humans to perfect themselves and soar towards divinity and you are on the right track.the concept, the vision, the sacrifice and the immense sacrifices behind these endeavours are pointers to the great truth that we live, we create and we share in all the splendours with not just our contemporaries but our progeny too.
