A point of no return.

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

The assisted dying law would  not result in more people dying but, fewer people suffering.

-Anonymous

The world has grown far and wide over the years and so are the population of people from different cultures.

Even though we can see some countries in the world which are ultra-modern and matured, we see even to this date we are being constantly attacked by viruses and bacteria.

The modern medicine is actually very advanced and has powerful drugs that can kill even the world’s dreadful diseases, we should be grateful to the scientists who experiment these drugs.

But even after we talk about all these medical advancements, there are cases where people do not respond to any medicine or treatment!

These cases we are referring to are victims of deadly accidents which has caused them  an irreversible head injury, a fire accident because of which a person went into shock and has not recovered for years together or even some extreme cases where a baby is born brain dead but is just kept alive because they see a  lateral growth in the patient.

When all the alternatives close, the family who is taking care of the patient, gradually understand the doors of all hopes are now being closed.

This is actually a very difficult situation for the family who see their dear one struggling to live and is just living with help of a heart lung machine.

When a person has reached this point or popularly called in medicine as the vegetative state or an euthanasia, actually what is the right thing to do?

Why can't the Doctors make that particular patient sleep forever which would give the patient the ultimate peace? This may seem a bit harsh and inhuman. But when it reaches a particular point and
There is absolutely no way to cure that patient from the sufferings, euthanasia is the only next option that is available.

The people around that patient will also have some sort of peace where the suffering will come to an end. This will not only save a lot of money spent on the medical expenses but also it gives them absolute freedom.

There are some cases of miracles happening where the patient is cured from the deadliest diseases. These will even astonish the doctors.

You may be wondering suddenly from nowhere what are talking about miracles? The simple reason is that, suppose the family agrees for a natural euthanasia without putting the patient to sleep by administering drugs, just allow him to start his heavenly journey in a natural way, his subconscious mind may wake up and he may be a cured man the next day, because the subconscious mind has infinite intelligence to solve any problem or ailment in this world.

In this blog we are not promoting mercy killing, but it is our concern for the patient and his/her family.

This extreme step should be taken when the doctors feel that the case has to an end and there will be no cure.

We leave it there with an open discussion, we feel we should do the right thing that is correct medically logically and emotionally.

Thanks for your time have a great weekend ahead.

Envision.

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

Logic will get you from A to B. Imagination will take you everywhere.
-Albert Einstein.

You are reading this blog, on your  phones, desktops, blackberries and so on; these devices are a product of thinking and innovation of some of the best scientists and engineers in this world.

The word “blog’’ itself is an idea which was a thought by some person, who felt that this could be a channel to spread knowledge and information.

This whole world works on ideas and thoughts. The act of communication is also one the first thoughts which emerged in this world that gave us the title the “social animal”

Psychologists say our brain is divided into 4 lobes: The frontal lobe, the parietal lobe, temporal lobe and the occupational lobe.

The frontal lobe gives us the power of thinking innovation and imagination.

But we all know we think different so ,one can have a beautiful thinking towards building machines , another drawing paintings ,another writing stories and so on , So we all possess an imaginative power which helps us innovate new things each day.

For a few minutes let’s imagine that there is no language in this world, no communication even through signs, words and various other modes of communication. The thoughts which arise in your mind some in form of words and some in form pictures, but you are not able interpret them in any manner, psychologically you are absolutely blank because there is no form any communication in this world.

You just get a picture of a river in your mind, but you don’t know what that particular thing has to be called as because you don’t know how to describe it. How strange is it not even just to imagine this world without communication? There would be no beginning and no end and no expression of anything.

This above experiment was telecasted in a famous documentary produced by the BBC(British Broadcasting Company ) called  the drake equation, which is a  probabilistic argument used to arrive at an estimate of the number of active, communicative extra-terrestrial civilizations in the Milky Way galaxy.

The communication itself is the greatest idea and wonderment for any living being in this world. The prehistoric man used to draw pictures and symbols on a cave wall, which was his form of communication now if we see all those sketches we feel amazed and astonished and think as to how they lived during those times and what motivated them to draw these abstracts arts.

But for them the cave painting was something which is normal what languages like English, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, German, Finnish, Hungarian etc., are now for us. So gradually according to the convenience of the man there was an evolution of communication. Probably a day might come in the future where altogether a different set of languages would flourish, who knows?

So, communication is definitely an idea or a thought. As man expanded his thinking gradually expanded too may be bigger than himself, languages took birth, which is an incomparable idea.

It is said that in a human brain there will be a constant flow of thoughts. These thoughts have no boundaries. They just wander with a great speed without any break. For example building a house is a thought this thought will be brought into action by planning , execution and finally finishing this project and the result is a beautiful house, this house is not only built with brick and mortar ,but also includes the innovation and imagination of an architect .

Likewise Today all the quantifiable things was once a small thought which went through various processes of polishing and the finally the outcome of the thought is a material thing.

As there is an advantage and a disadvantage for every product, human brain gets thoughts which are good and as well as destructive. It is in our hands to reflect the thoughts which are good and quash the thoughts which are destructive.

Let the thoughts emerge like the dew-drops which fall on leaves and flow like a small stream, which joins the ocean of innovation and thinking.

Think healthier live better.

Bread, Butter &Jam.

Hello readers

Hope you are doing great.

Food is for eating, and good food is to be enjoyed... I think food is, actually, very beautiful in itself.

-Delia Smith.

All living beings in this world are dependent on this, finally from an animal to a bird till humans and that is food.

If we just trace back in time, there is history how food originated.

The moment the first living organism was born on earth, the first objective of  life would be survival and for that it needs food, so that is where the story of food began.

We all need food to live and also procreate that is also one of the objectives of food.

Now for some history, initially during the stone-age when the first species of humans were born, he was no different from any animal, eating raw meat and some berries available in the forest, as days and years passed, and so did the evolution of species, man became smart and understood how to produce fire, which helped in many ways like scaring away animals keeping himself warm, and also in processing food.

Now  when we see discuss about this  term called food processing, it is one of the biggest industries in the world , starting from your favourite potato chips to ready to eat food, but is it not amazing how this concept of food processing and the concept of ‘taste’ emerged in this world.

The world of food is becoming closer and closer day by day. The people have now got the opportunity to taste different foods from all around the world. The only thing which is making the people united is by food. If you are a Bangalorean and you will desire to have Mexican food, for this you need not travel all the way to Mexico to satisfy your desire because there many Mexican restaurants that have opened in Bengaluru through which you can enjoy Mexican delicacies.

Most desired food all around the world

Italian food is probably the most popular in the world. Where, one cannot deny the lip-smacking taste of the Pizzas and the Pastas which took its birth in Italy and is the most commonly found alien food around the world. Wine is the integral part of the Italians diet. And it is also known for its simplicity.

Mexican food has a reputation for being spicy. The basic/native elements of the Mexican food are corn, chili peppers and beans. Since, Mexico was under the Spanish rule and the latter introduced major other foods to Mexico such as dairy products. Mexican cuisine was emblazoned in 2010 on the representative list of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO because it plays an important role in the culture and tradition of the country.

North American food is the blend of the Native American style and the European style. The quintessential American food is the Burger and fries and followed by fried chicken, hotdog and sundaes. This was a research done by the Food and Wine magazine. They prefer more of a packed food than fresh food.

In Hungary, people usually start their day with a large breakfast which consists of an open sandwich with different puddings according to their tastes. Lunch is the major meal of the day where generally soup, meat and salad are the vital aspects of the food which precedes the dessert. Hungarian wine dates back to the Roman times. The most famous wine is the Bull’s Blood, a dark red wine.

Indian food is different from the rest of the world in taste and as well as the cooking methods. Indian culture has a very strong influence on its food where it is reflected in its taste. Spice is generously used throughout India where each spice used in a dish carries a particular nutritional and medical property. People prefer their hands to consume the food, which has a particular meaning for it. In Southern part of India people generally sit on the floor and food is served on the banana leaf. This signifies that when the hot is served on the banana leaf it releases enzymes that helps in better digestion.

There are finally five basic tastes in the world that is Sweet, Sour, Bitter, Salty and Spicy. Whatever the cuisine you eat in whichever part of the world it mainly consists of these five tastes, it is the smart, skillful and intelligent combination of these tastes that makes a dish which we relish.

No matter if you are a vegetarian, a Vegan or a Non-vegetarian. We have to respect and promote the foods from all around.

Food wastage

We all should be fortunate that we eat the food of our choice and we also are very choosy about what we eat.

But we are unhappy on the amount food that is being wasted around the world, there are people who cannot afford a single meal, but the irony is people waste tons of food in the name of marriages and other occasions, we are not against celebrations but, we against the wastage of food which are precious calories that is that can save a life. In Germany food wastage is a crime.

Let us enjoy eating food and also stop wasting it.

Social networks.

Hello readers
hope you are doing great.

“We speak not only to tell other people what we think, but to tell ourselves what we think. Speech is a part of thought.”

- Oliver Sacks, Seeing Voices

Social networking has become the need of the hour in this technological world, we all depend  a lot on this, why is that? The simple answer would be man is a social animal, he always wants company and people to talk to we totally accept that.

But the big question is are we overdoing it? Though there are  mixed answers on this, we think, the answer is yes.

Overdoing.

When we say overdoing there are certain reasons why we say so: The first and foremost reason would be time; we are spending less time in communicating or conveying that message to the intended person, suppose you want to talk to a neighbour who is just 2 houses away from you, and you want to ask them if there was a power-cut in their house, we could have just walked and enquired, but we prefer a phone call, or rather whatsapp, SMS and so on actually we are not against this but, the point is we have stopped talking to people face -to-face which is the traditional way of communication.

We have seen people who say “I prefer chatting rather than talking to that person on phone or meeting him, when we ask him or her the reason, he replies that he has fear of facing people!

We would have heard about the concept of introverts and extroverts. After the advent of smart phones and the great softwares like the android, IOS, windows mobile and many more, the dimension of communication has reached new heights.

The whole world is connected through internet, apps and the cloud servers.

But there is always 2 sides of a coin, we are referring to the increase in the use of smart phones and social networking apps and personal conversation which have become  centres for gossip, sharing immature stuff and rumours, which is growing at an alarming rate let us start using these devices to share knowledge and pleasant thoughts.

Recently an US health safety organisation published an article about the new psychological depression which is caused due to people expecting quick replies from the people whom they chat with, and start thinking ill about them leading to great misunderstanding creating hatred towards each other and breaking valuable relationships.

How many of us use Facebook productively? We are not against the fun part of it, but there are lots of things that could be learned through Facebook.

It is very important for us to be connected with the people and it is a great platform to meet many people. It has an impact on people of all ages, If a women uploads her picture this could result in two ways: young girls would envy that picture and few could really appreciate it. Chances of misusing that picture could also be not ruled out.Too much sharing of personal content on the world wide web is not so safe.

The most important thing to be addressed is it could lead to addiction. One feels that he/she has to be online for chats, checking others profile and so on. A day may come where there could be rehabilitation centres for the excess users of Facebook. Keeping everything in balance is what is very essential in one’s life.

Even when we think from the security point of view these firms do not seem to be as transparent as we think, we have seen numerous cases,of user accounts being used by many famous detective agencies for data mining, which is a serious blow to one's privacy.

The famous photo of 6 friends meeting to eat in a good hotel, but not talking each other, instead just staring at their screens was an iconic display of this new trend.

Let’s open up and show real emotions, make people show what is real happiness, rather than sending emojis, for the sake of sending it and just feeling dull inside.
