Bogus Gurus.

Hello readers,

Hope you all are doing great.

Take risks in your life. If you win,you can lead !
If you lose, you can guide!

-Swami Vivekananda.

                                                   His holiness Sri Swami Vivekananda

India is considered to be a holy land. It has given birth to, many great gurus and sages who have attained the highest level of truth. It is one of the only few countries in the world which is very rich spiritually. People from all over the world come to this great land to seek what is true knowledge and to attain the salvation.

Greatest  gurus who hail from India have shown the world how to realise the truth. And as human beings our prime hunger should be to know what the real truth is. India what was once known for its philosophical knowledge is now slowly having a negative transformation.

It is also said that many great gurus had the power of creating parallel worlds. It was possible by them to reach that level was only because of their power of concentration.

The Great Gurus of India:

Sri Adi Shankaracharya: Born in 788 AD in a village called Kaladi in the state of Kerala. He was the greatest renowned philosopher.  He brought new life to the Vedas. His interpretations gave a new birth to the Advaita Philosophy.

Sri Madavacharya: born Vasudeva, also known as Purana Prajña and Ananda Tīrtha, was a Hindu philosopher and the chief proponent of the Dvaita school of Vedanta. Madhva himself called his philosophy as "Tattvavada" meaning realism. It is one of the three most influential Vedanta philosophies. Madhvācārya was one of the important philosophers during the Bhakti movement.

Sri Ramanuja : was a Hindu theologian, philosopher, and scriptural exegete, born in a Tamil Brahmin family in the village of Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu. He is also known as Sri Ramanujacharya, Udayavar, Ethirajar
(Yatiraja),Emberumannar and Lakshmana Muni. He is seen by Sri Vaishnavism as the most important acharya (teacher) of their tradition who followed Nathamuni and Yamunacharya, and by Hindus in general as the leading expounder of Vishishtadvaita, one of the classical interpretations of the dominant Vedanta school of Vedic philosophy.

Sri Swami Vivekananda
: Born in Calcutta. His guru was Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa Whom; many people have believed that he was tan avatar of Sri Krishna who introduced Vivekananda to the Advaita Vedanta. Swami Vivekananda introduced Vedanta to Europe and America, where he gave an inspirational speech in the parliament of world's religion at Chicago. He founded the Ramakrishna Mission.

Sri Swami Sivananda Saraswati: Born in Tamil Nadu. He was a doctor in Malaysia where later he renounced his medical practice and moved towards spirituality. He toured length and breadth of India to awaken the moral and spiritual consciousness of people. He founded the Divine Life Society at Rishikesh with main aim of spreading the spiritual knowledge and service to mankind.

This was what India was known for and most talked about. This land of great gurus is now becoming a land of bogus gurus.

From time immemorial Indians have cultivated the habit of fear towards the god. Excess fear has caused damages to the lives of many innocent people. Fear, up to a minimal level would keep an individual disciplined and would not give any room for blind beliefs.

But the sad part starts from here, India being land of tradition and spiritual heritage is now in a phase where the sentiments and fear mentality and the true devotion of the devotees are being misused by some of the so called Swami Ji’s here which is a disaster.

For example if we take Mr.X to be a be a self-proclaimed Guru and ,Mr Y a poor devotees facing some problems in his life hears about this person on Television and decides to seeks his advice ,is not the duty of the god an to help him if he is an evolved soul, but what happens is nothing but business ,and the guru asking some wants which are purely materialistic ,we have often seen on television's the assets and scams of the so called “great gurus” ,who also been imprisoned .

Actually we as citizens and the followers of our religion of our choice have and share the equal responsibility in cultivating and motivating these fake gurus. Mainly for three reasons the first one would be our fear that ,we cannot question a guru!? 2. Expecting miracles to happen and 3 the blind belief and superstitions.

Why can't we think in this way, if seeking God and salvation was so simple ,why should people struggle in life and fight to live? Everyone could have become a sanyasi, but here comes the difference Sanyasi is a person who has given up this world as we see it and leads a life of sacrifice sacrifices his, pleasures, emotions relations and so on.
The amazing part is that the modern Sanyasi go for a yathra with Z class security and own mansions and vehicles like the leading businessman in the country, and all these great pontiffs entering politics is literally meaningless.

So now becoming a guru has become nothing but a profession or business.
We have read history about the great saints in other religions too. Which are also been contaminated by these modern gurus.

We agree this whole topic is a very sensitive one but, should we start encouraging a non deserving person to become a guru and respect him, well we think that is not way,if that happens the great souls we spoke earlier won't be happy ,in the higher world they are staying .
Lets Live in the direction the divine souls have told us to lead a life of purity ,and lets top caring about amateurs who don't even know the meaning of spirituality  practise the divinity and sanyasa Karma as profession and business.

Thanks a lot for your time have a great Sunday ahead.

Unasked Help.

Hi readers

Hope you guys are doing great.

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing –Socrates.

Today our theme is the unasked helped we are receiving every day ,and many of us even don't know about these types of help that we get we wanted to throw some light on this topic and we were actually impressed by a documentary ,in the national geographic channel last week.

We are going to talk about the microbes and some of the microorganisms which live around us and help us live this life.

The microbes are responsible for so many essential chemical reactions the simplest example, would be the milk changing to curd with the help of a bacteria called the lactobacillus.

The documentary also spoke about the bacteria that live in our body which helps in digestion, without which your favourite food would never be digested.

Moving on some notable products that extracted by bacteria is as we already mentioned is curds, all the bakery products, and the all the alcoholic drinks and so on.

The world is so amazing, that it is designed to maintain a balanced eco- system.

The word ‘insects’, makes you feel uncomfortable, but at the same, if we say honey we all feel a yummy feeling in our minds.

For all the vegetarians out there it’s a known fact we eat fruits and vegetables which are fertilized from the flowers the plant or tree bears, there is an essential process which happens in between the conversion of a flower into a fruit it's due to the various pollination techniques evolved in nature it is possible, which are entomophily that is the pollination by insects and ornithophily which is pollination by birds , the pollination is done by birds like bats and hummingbirds which eat the fruits and drink nectar and help in pollination .birds also defecate the seeds in new growth.

We humans feel we are great ,that we have automated so many processes and machines, but just see the beauty of nature, it’s just brilliant are anyone of asking these beings to help us ,we say that’s the law of nature, but just think is it not brilliant, it is just working day in and day out like clockwork.

We always keep thinking how nature manages this balance, if we take our own body it’s just a huge machine, and a chemical factory .

But a disaster is awaiting for us in the corner, the rate in which we are decimating the forests, we feel it’s just harming the pollination ratio, just building huge places without keeping a scientific and ecological responsibility in mind is just meaningless.

Imagine a day without pollination, it will just make our life stand still and worried as we won't be able to relish all the delicious food we eat.

A recent survey has revealed that the global human population has been doubled in the last 50 years. This has also a direct impact on the consumption of food. As there is an increase in the population the demand for food has also increased. This growing demand has to be met by clearing the forest land into the agriculture land. Clearing forests without any controlling measures will have a negative impact. Homes of hundreds of insects would be destroyed. The natural cycle will be affected severely.

About 75% of all crop species require pollination by animals, mostly by bees and butterflies. Human activities are based on the false assumption that pollination is free and abundantly available ecological service. This has put pressure on the pollinators by increasing their demand and removing their habitat.

The world is now seeing a sharp fall in the number of bee population. There are many reasons for this; one of them could be uncontrolled growth of human population. It’s becoming like for our own survival we are digging our own grave.

Intensive farming and use of pesticides will reduce the availability of nectar and pollen foods for the insects.

It is now time to take some measures to link up  the habitats which will act as a heaven for these insects. Technology alone cannot define everything; basic understanding about the ecological cycle and the natural process is very evident.

We would like to conclude by saying lets start identifying the small favours which nature is doing for us ,without expecting anything from us ,but we must definitely think of repaying nature by conserving and protecting it .

Cricket -Then and now.

 Hello readers

Hope you all had a great week.

Today we want to talk about the most loved and played game in the Indian sub -continent and the rest of the commonwealth countries cricket.

OK let’s start then, Cricket can definitely be traced back to Tudor times in early 16th-century England. Written evidence exists of a game known as creag being played by Prince Edward, the son of Edward I (Longshanks), at Newenden, Kent in 1301 and there has been speculation, but no evidence, that this was a form of cricket. Thanks to Wikipedia for the great information.

Prince Edward, the son of Edward I (Longshanks),
 at Newenden, Kent in 1301

It was just a game which was played in the villages of England. Later it was John Wisden who made it a national game. At this point of time, we would love to thank the British.

This game has always been a gentleman’s game which shows the true grit, courage and skill of both the batsman and bowlers trying to outsmart each other.

In India as it is popularly quoted “Cricket is a religion” and often people also mention that we forget all differences among each other and just focus on motivating and praying that our team wins! And in some of the fans homes their cricketing superstars will be worshiped like any other god.

Actually the agenda for this blog is to give the maximum information we know about this game, and also express some concerns about decline in the charm of the game and the reasons according to us.
We have seen great players around the world ,who were very dedicated to the sport starting from the unbeatable Sir Don Bradman ,Sir Vivian Richards, Rahul Dravid, Kapil Dev, Glenn McGrath ,Matthew Hayden, Simon Katich ,master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly ,the list is almost endless these great souls are more than cricketers to all of us ,many lives in this great country were and are and will be motivated by these people and changed their lives forever ,for the determination and motivation that they have given us ,which is required to achieve anything in life.

It was West Indies which dominated the world cricket in the 60s, 70s and early 80s. The game was taken to a different level by this great team under the lights of the greatest cricketing personalities like Alvin Kallicharan who is considered to be the best middle order batsmen of that era. Clive Lloyd who happens to be the greatest test captains of all times. And the famous fast bowling unit of the team like Andy Roberts and Griffith who were as fast as any speedy trains. Their speeds used to touch above 160kms per hour. It was this bowling attack and the rest of the medium pacers of the great West Indies team used to create a nightmare in the minds of the opposite team.

Indian marvels like B S Chandrasekhar, E A S Prasanna, Bishan Singh Bedi, Jayasimha, venkataraghavan, G R Vishwanath, Farokh Engineer, Wadekar,Syed Kirmani and many more whose contributions to the Cricket are priceless. G R Vishwanath was considered to be the player of square cut; he used to play text book cricketing shots. And when the ball was given by the captain to Chandrasekhar, the commentators would call him as a wizard bowler and a magician with the ball, who has saved India in many difficult situations.

\

These marvels  have become role models for the young budding cricketers. We have to remember the greatest cricketers of all time and pay tribute to them.

One cannot forget the facts of the famous controversy of the bodyline bowling tactic by the England team against the Aussies.

Early days of cricket was played with true spirit and we're used to play for the crowd. They had a very great passion toward the game and a huge respect for the country that they represented for.

The batsmen used to face the fast steamy deliveries without any protection. They were not wearing any helmets, the arm guards, thigh pads and the chest guards. But they used to display great talents with the bat.

Tiger Pataudi one of the greatest test captains of India and a very great batsmen who used to play with one eye. He had lost his right eye.

There was a time line where schools and colleges were declared holidays to watch cricket matches especially in the test match season. How amazing is that!

We feel test matches, are actually the true test for any player to prove himself on the field. Test cricket is the best cricket. It is the greatest bliss for any player to play for the tests by representing his country.

The picture shows the first test match played in London,
As illustrated in the London Times.

Moving on ,just think all those exciting days of our childhood when we used gaze at the T.V screen hoping for the win and feeling jubilant after we had won the match ,and felt that pure happiness when one of your favourites, player completed his century or broke a record that day .These days are just immemorial.

The 2011 world cup Winning cricket team

Cricket since the 90’s and after the millennium:

It was actually the era of the famous victories of England, Australia, West indies dominates the test cadre and India dominating in the one day international cadre with great players leading the team like Kapil Dev who sailed India to clinch the world cup in 1983 , We feel that was the best time of Indian cricket.

 The 1983 World cup Victory.
The lost Charm:

Well we have spoken about cricket which all positive till here let’s also speak about some issues which we feel is hampering the charm of this great game.

The first and fore most point would be the commercialization of cricket beyond the limit, we do agree that in this 21th century, the world is in huge business boom and ,all sporting events are subjected to some business and profits which is totally acceptable ,but when it  comes to cricket we can ,see commercialization to a new level.

Yes we are sure you have got an idea of what we are talking about, and your right, we are talking about the so called other forms of cricket like the 20-20 format which includes the IPL (Indian Premier League), which has turned this sport into pure business, bookie and filthy politics within the management heads, and the sport has turned into just a entertainment show! What a disaster.

We know we do have similar leagues in other sports like in football the (Barclays premier League),but we feel it doesn't fit in to cricket ,this is a game of strategy and skill ,not cracker show we hit , 120 balls in an hour however we want and get praised or that !that is ridiculous, and just disrespecting the sport

The sad part is that players lose their actual zeal towards the game, and becomes less productive in the actual matches other than these meaningless leagues, where they represent their countries.

The other forms of cricket may be more successful than the classical forms of cricket, and we are sure many of you would disagree that IPL is an obstacle for cricket, but if we just give it a thought, maybe there will be a change in your thinking.

These are all history which has to be recalled again and again. Our generation viewers have become more T20 oriented. And there is slight decline in the number of test cricket viewers. If you thoroughly understand the game of cricket then there is nothing like test matches

Thanks a lot for taking time in reading this, let’s appreciate cricket the way it was and continue to maintain the tradition, let’s encourage all sports, to the extent possible.

Risky Jobs.

Hello readers

Hope you all are doing good.

Today we wanted to discuss about some risky jobs taken up by the personnel for citizens.

We are talking about the employees of the power transmission and distribution department, the public transport drivers, the fire brigade and the truck drivers, who transport essential goods and services across the world.

A couple of weeks back the city of Bengaluru was hit by heavy rain and speedy storms. Some roads of the city were completely flooded and 100s of  trees were uprooted and most importantly many electric poles had been damaged severely.

This had  created an absolute chaos. No power in some parts of the city. This may seem to be small when compared to the mighty hurricanes and tornadoes. But for this unplanned city it is big.

Now a days electricity has become an essential part in our day to day life. From dawn to dusk without power it is impossible to lead a normal life. You may be thinking as to what is it we are linking to?
Yes it is about the people who work in BESCOM.

When the city was hit by the heavy rain, the after effects were also very mighty. The electric poles were damaged. Power supply was cut. The local residents were in a state of shock after all these series of incidents. They immediately called the BESCOM for the support. It's hard to believe, within few hours they managed to get things sorted and back on track with the help of other departments.

Yes,  it is their duty to help the people and the society. But as citizens it shall be our duty to give them the due respect that they deserve.

The people in the electricity department are no less than soldiers, as the soldiers are battle ready, these guys are  always ready to go to the place and handle the situation, where it involves high voltage which is fatal, and the power grid as we all know it is a strategic mathematical formula to handle the power crisis in india.

Distribution Automation System (DAS) taken up by BESCOM is a project to automate the distribution network for monitoring, control and operation of 11 KV network in Bangalore city to enhance reliability and quality of power.

Next up the public transport drivers. We feel these guys are just great, try to drive your car continuously for 12 hours daily, we are sure you will start hating your car, but these guys, drive almost 24/7 more than 3 times in the same route, in the harsh and not so well developed roads of India, and also in the peak hours the bus will have more passengers than it can handle,we must me proud of our women who have are also now joining and started bus driving as a  profession.

They seriously deserve a big thank you.

We get all the goods and services we want at our doorstep these days, with the E-commerce industry boom logistic management has become very dynamic, we have to appreciate the patience, of the people responsible for designing the logistic management network and the delivery staff for their time and energy in packing and delivering the goods.

It takes lot of courage to work in the fire brigade, all the people involved in this job take high risks on a daily basis, government should definitely should start giving awards, at the end of each year as a token of appreciation.

Servicing is a selfless activity we salute all the people mentioned above who help to lead our life happily during difficult times. Thank you guys for making our life easy.

No job is Superior and no job is Inferior. We have to look at these silent crusaders as an inspiration on whom people usually talk negative by keeping a couple of incidents which would have made us unhappy. We have to join our hands and have to cooperate with these silent crusaders for betterment.

The Politicians.

Hello readers,

Hope you all are doing great.

In today's blog we would like to discuss about the politicians and their skill sets.

Who and what are skills required for a true politician,  who can transform and bring about change in the society.

A politician should be great leader first. He should have an open mind always and should be ready to sacrifice for the betterment of the people.

Image result for politicians campaigning
A true politician is the one who will have drive and  motivate people and fight against the odds. When the people elect a person by giving him the responsibilities for better governance, it shall be his duty to serve the people.

If we talk about the Indian politicians, barring a few the rest all have absolutely no leadership skill sets. They have developed good marketing and manipulative skills instead.

Is it not their duty and responsibility to provide better service to the people and aim at a transparent governance. With what courage these so called politicians contest for the elections without having done nothing for the people.

It is because they know that the people are not bothered much about it. They have created an invisible curtain which depicts that no change can be brought in.

Everybody talks and it's only talking in which we the Indian's are extremely good at. We know the fact, everything is kept open. There is no one in India who can say that he/she doesn't know about what these politicians do.

There is always news that will be screened about the dirty works of the politicians. People watch it with anger, but forget the next day.

It is this attitude of the people which is costing us and acting as a barrier for the development. Development is happening only in houses of the politicians.

This generation should be wiped out.

If we look at the problems in India there is definitely solutions available ,but we must understand if the basic attitudes of the elected leaders is just making money for their future generations and completely immature in their thoughts we don't think they deserve to be leaders.

There is also another part which is more important than the leader we elect ,yes its we the people ,we must consider voting and the whole electoral  system and see it in a very serious way,and try to elect responsible leaders. If the leader whom you have elected is not being productive ,he must  be forced to resign.

We the people of this great nation pay taxes ,from the had earned money,Don't we at-least the right to see the effective usage of these funds?

Image result for politicians taking bribes

We cant we live in an India which is more clean, transparent, where people are proud of their leaders.

Why can't politicians be more mature in their approach in helping the people to lead better life?

how long should a kid stuck in poverty suffer!come on leaders get up think !we are sure you the potential to achieve the goals that you campaigned for !

We the voters should develop awareness and vote for a better future and not for a formality.
